Days 3 & 4 - The Black Table And The Chocolate

Since Matt is shushing a hungry baby in order for me to write this right now, I'll make it brief.

Yesterday's task was simple - clear all the clutter off our (tiny) dining table.

It's harder than it looks - that wicker basket is full of random crap.

We haven't used this table in months, and I've been slowly chipping away at it, so I thought putting the last few nails in the coffin would make a good 'project' for my 31 day challenge.  The tough part was requiring myself to find a home for many homeless items, and that resulted in a couple more lines on my to do list, actually, since I need to send some things out in the mail, take stuff to goodwill, etc.

Long story short - the job's done.  Yay!  We actually ATE dinner on that table last night.

For today (Day 4) I tackled the 6 boxes of chocolates that have been taking up WAY too much space in my bedroom, of all places (because I have to hide them from the kids).  So maybe selling chocolate isn't really an organizing task, but I'm declaring it one anyway, and maybe Matt and the kids really did all that work, but I was there to see it and it was my decision to do it, so I'm taking at least some of the credit.  And now the chocolate is (mostly) gone.

Yes my son is wearing a sandwich board.
That's it!
